Greenstream AHU Maintenance Ltd

Helping Healthcare Providers with HTM 03-01 Compliance

Greenstream AHU Maintenance Ltd works with hospitals and healthcare providers in London and the south of England to make sure ventilation systems are HTM 03-01 compliant.

What is HTM 03-01?

This "Health Technical Memoranda" sets out specific guidelines for how ventilation units need to be installed and maintained within hospitals and other healthcare settings. Systems need to be designed and maintained to specific criteria to ensure that bacteria build up in the system is minimised as much as possible. If a new system is fitted or an existing one is refurbished, HTM 03-01 must be taken into account to make sure your systems are compliant.

What is Taken into Account with HTM 03-01?

When designing and maintaining a new ventilation system, strict criteria have to be adhered to including:

  • Making sure units are sized to ensure a maximum coil and filter velocity of 2m³/s.
  • For maintenance, all components must be accessible both upstream and downstream.
  • There must be positive pressure positioned above stainless steel drip trays.
Greenstream AHU Maintenance Ltd will work with you to design and install your new ventilation system while providing professional advice on how to keep things safe and compliant.
